Theme - Bridge

Babbling Beck

The good weather continues. We found this "new" walk near us and thought this was one of the prettiest areas I have seen

Theme 223 - Reflections

Crummock Water

What can I say, perfect day, still, calm, blue sky - a photographers dream location.

I hope you can look on this photo and feel some of the peace I felt. Life can be so good.

A day to reflect on.

Theme 161 - Sky

Bassenthwaite Lake

Driving home the sun was setting, the hills perfectly reflected in the lake and the sky was incredible. I had my camera and tripod in the car, so pulled over and got this shot.

Theme 325 - Toy

Toy Shop

Once again, until the camera was in my hand, I had never noticed this brightly coloured shop. Also discovered another one not far down the road - how many toy shops does one small town need?!!

Theme 260 - Beginning

Snowdrops

Is this the beginning of the end of winter, or the beginning of spring? The weather these last fews days has been amazing - bright, bright blue skies and warm sunshine. I was in London (Putney) at the weekend and it was 16 C/61 F - wonderful.

This was taken in our next door neighbour's garden. We also have plenty of snowdrops, but nothing like the thick carpet here. We live in quite a touristy area, and it is not unusual to see people stopping to admire this display of nature.

Theme 350 - Signs

One of the signs for The Lanes Shopping Centre - Carlisle

I couldn't resist this "Gold Text"!!!

My forum friends will understand why that is possibly and vaguely amusing ;-))

Theme 41 - Time

Time.........

To get back to blogging!

I had been so busy taking photos, I was completely unaware that my hard drive was filling up so quick - suddenly it was almost full and I had to stop. I ordered a new external hard drive and then I had to wait..........and wait.........until today, it arrived. So I am back. May take a little while now for me to catch up and I am going to be away for a few days now. So not too many pictures. At least I can play now though :-)

The photo above was taken in Carlisle.
