SnowdropsIs this the beginning of the end of winter, or the beginning of spring? The weather these last fews days has been amazing - bright, bright blue skies and warm sunshine. I was in London (Putney) at the weekend and it was 16 C/61 F - wonderful.
This was taken in our next door neighbour's garden. We also have plenty of snowdrops, but nothing like the thick carpet here. We live in quite a touristy area, and it is not unusual to see people stopping to admire this display of nature.

Fantastic! I'm so jealous! That is a lovely display and a great photo to boot...
This is a beautiful shot, what a lovely view to have, I'd be one of the passersby who'd stop to have a look! And we've both got the beginning of spring going on - hey!
I'd definitely stop to look and take photos too!
I've been busy the last week or so, and gotten behind on my 366 Blog reading - when I came this morning to quickly check yours before work (I need to go now...), I forgot you were England based, and thought the views and the Brassenthwaite lake name were perhaps US/Canadian harkening back to old English history (like them having a Plymouth and stuff). Then I saw you had a weekend in London (me too! Weekend just gone) and the Lanes sign, and remembered you're a Brit.
D'oh!
