So What's the Girl to do?Just a sort of update. I haven't given up on my blog, on the other hand, I am not exactly running with it either at the moment am I!
I am sitting on this big comfortable fence, waiting for divine intervention as to whether to continue or just say "Enough". I am reluctant to give up, although my chances of actually completing the Challenge are pretty much zero. What I don't want to happen is to get all happy snappy again - sometimes that is right, the opportunity presents itself and a snapshot works but there are some photos I have posted here that are just snaps and not very satisfying to take or post .
I have just completed an 8 week online course and currently absorbing that info. In addition, at present I'm drawn to portraiture - I have a lot to learn, but really enjoy working with people.
So, in the meantime, here are a few shots I have taken recently - maybe this will break my blogging inertia and other more relevant shots will follow...........................or not - ;-)

Linda, I was just wondering where you were! I do hope you'll keep blogging in one form or another because I've missed you!
These are lovely shots. The framing formed by the tree branch and the shadow in the first one is fantastic.
Great images. Even if you don't continue with the challenge, at least post as much as you can on a regular basis, as people like myself will continue to check it out.

*beautiful*
I am thinking of what do to with my 366, I am almost tempted to give it "another year".
I've also been so busy and this year didn't really turn out the way I thought, so not that much time with my camera.
At present, I have merged my 366 with my diary photo blog. It works for me.
Hope you will continue posting your photos.
Julie, Yes, still here and yes, I will keep blogging. Glad you liked the framing shot - it is one of my favourites, it was such a glorious evening.
Hodgy - Thank you - I am so flattered you stopped by, you are one of the people that has inspired and motivated me the most.
Mia, What a great idea. I may just continue into next year. Why not? We can do what we like with out own blogs.
Very nice shots. The highlights and shadows nicely complement each other.
I always saw the challenge as two things. First and foremost a way to have fun with photography. And second a motivation to take more images (and sort through my older ones).
Perhaps it was because I started very late in the game, but I am very much in the "journey is the reward" camp, regardless of how far I get.
As to my finishing the challenge, I will stop on 12/31/2008, although I may make my last challenge post well before that! And once the year is over, I've been toying with finishing at least some of the remaining themes with images from my back catalog of prior year images. We'll see.
But as for what you should do, that's easy, keep shooting and sharing! And if images match a theme, so much the better.
