I went into the wash room to do another load of washing, to be greeted by this little fellow. Not sure how he got in there, can only assume he somehow attached himself to hubby's gardening jeans. Think he was definitely a bit lost.

Linda, this couldn't be cuter for the theme! Nice detail in the image of the little frog - your macro lens? His tones blend very nicely with the cheery background don't they.
Yes Pat, taken with that great macro lens. Fortunately the camera with the macro lens was to hand, as I had been trying to get butterfly and bumble bee shots (not successful yet).
The background was a bit of luck, it is a yellow plastic box that was stood on its side - I didn't need to move it in place, it was just there. Frog was very lively, so only had a limited time to capture this - then I shut the door and waited for hubby to return to put him back in the garden.
One evening in August 2006, I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Elements, loved it and for the next 3 months, was totally absorbed learning how to use such fun software . I quickly realised that whilst editing can do a lot for not so good photos (polite term for "crap")it was actually better to be creative with good images - and so my love of photography was re-ignited.
This Blog is part of my creative journey. I have a lot to learn but the motivation of getting out there to tick off the themes gives me good practice.
Please look through and feel free to comment, which I welcome and appreciate.
Thanks for stopping by.

How odd! Just goes to show the things you encounter, living in a rural area ;-)
This is a brilliant shot! I bet he was as surpriced to see you and vice versa.
Surprised!! I think I jumped the highest :-)
Wonderful shot and story to go with it! He really looks like he was posing for you. Bet your dogs would have have thought him a good playmate! ;-)
