Anybody that knows me, knows that I am an animal lover (I quite like people as well!). I adore parrots - however, I have never wanted one as a pet, as I don't like to see them caged. Parrots are also very intelligent and gregarious creatures - when I see them on their own, I strongly suspect they must be lonely.This African Grey lives at a cafe near to where we live. He is extremely well looked after and "chats" quite a lot - his vocabulary is based on what he hears in the cafe, which is quite amusing.
I still wish he wasn't on his own though :-(
