A Blur of EnergyNot a great shot I know, but there is something I like about this one.
My critique: Not focused enough, she is running away from the camera rather than towards, but the colours work well and I love the energy.
One day I will dedicate a walk (or 2) to getting a good action shot but need to give full attention as these dogs go from zero to Mach I in about 2 seconds!!!

Linda, I think it is fantastic. I love everything about this shot, the foggy cliffs, the lovely soft colors, the dog's position vis-a-vis the water, and the blur. Especially the blur!
I think this is great too. I also appreciate the difficulty involved in getting the shot, I was trying to get a shot of my brother's dog, (a border collie) leaping in the air in the garden in the summer and I don't think I got one picture that worked.
Thanks guys, you know I stared at this for ages thinking, "it's rubbish, but I like it, but it's rubbish....the colours work" etc etc
Julie, thank especially for liking the blur, I mean, you have to like the blur in this picture - there is so much of it!
Lisa, exactly, for this shot, I have quite a few frames with just blurry hills, or maybe a tail or two ;-)
Not rubbish!
Love this too. The blur works. Has a real wild feel.

You were spot on in liking the energy and colours in this image - that dog is just so alive! It's great Linda...
