Church GatesWalking back to my car after a visit to the hairdressers, I spotted this gate. This is the gate to the church and I park in the church car park. The thing is, this is were I always park when I visit the hairdressers and this is the first time I have ever noticed them!! It's great how photographic blogs can open your eyes!

Oh I do like this Linda, very striking. Really like the composition with an odd number of gate sections selected (3) and always I like repeated patterns. That grey sky served to enhance this image. Very very nice!

Julie, yes, I do actually have a picture of the church, but it is really ugly. A heavy lumpy building, probably better on the inside. A lot of buildings up here tend to be rather solid and squat - built no doubt to withstand the elements.
The grey sky adds an 'atmosphere' to the ironwork, probably could be quite spooky at times.
