Pepper GrinderHubby's son came to stay a couple of weeks ago and bought us this gift whilst he was here. Not only is it an excellent pepper grinder, it has also made a good blog shot.

- One evening in August 2006, I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Elements, loved it and for the next 3 months, was totally absorbed learning how to use such fun software . I quickly realised that whilst editing can do a lot for not so good photos (polite term for "crap")it was actually better to be creative with good images - and so my love of photography was re-ignited. This Blog is part of my creative journey. I have a lot to learn but the motivation of getting out there to tick off the themes gives me good practice. Neat subject for the theme, like the angle you chose, good depth of field!
It does make a good shot! Nice angle and dof :D
What a nice houseguest to present you with a useful gift and one that fulfills a theme! (Maybe you should give him the theme list so that he can consider it for future visits.)
