This is 7 photos stitched together in CS3 and best viewed by clicking on the photo and looking at the larger photo. It was a bit of an experiment and I took the photos hand held, would obviously be better if I had used a tripod. Still quite pleased with it and would like to do it properly one day.
To the left is Derwent Water and to the right you can just see Bassenthwaite Lake. It was a very warm day, but the cloud was down. However, I think it adds to the overall drama of the shot.

Linda, wonderful job of creating this pano! And, yes, you live in a beautiful area. I, too, like the effect of the low-hanging clouds. Much more interesting than just a plain blue sky.
Well done, that's wonderful! Lucky you, living in such beautiful surroundings.
very nice panoramic. lovely
Pretty impressive stitching Linda! Beautiful result, especially with the low cloud. Beautiful country you live in...
This is so pretty! I've never tried a pano but I've sure seen some nice ones lately. May have to try one...
Great job stitching the panorama together! I've seen a friend do it too, and never tried it myself (well, not with software, I tried manually once with my point and shoot).
But it looks wonderful, and the grey clouds compliment the landscape, you're right. Well done, and enjoy the view every time you see it, you're so lucky!
