Well I couldn't go a whole day without taking a picture of these 2 could I!! To keep on top of their training, during their walk they have to sit whilst we walk off and leave them - they don't mind in the slightest as they know that when they get called, they get a treat - this is what they are waiting for here.
Actually, what I was doing was experimenting with composition - in this case "framing". I think this has worked quite well, it has framed the dogs and leads the eye to the top of "Cat Bells", one of the most visited and walked hills in the Lake District - and the home of Mrs Tiggy Winkle of course! (re. Beatrix Potter).
Shame the sky is burnt out but was too tricky to turn the view around to face the other way - lol.

Good dogs! Looks like they know their sit and stay command, and well done you for keeping them so well trained - and in an environment right with so many smells and distractions!
And lovely framing in the photo!
I can't believe these two are sitting with their backs to you and not at least peeking! LOL Excellent training methods obviously.
You did a really nice job of framing with this... it's especially nice with the dogs pointed towards the view.
