Goodbye Old FriendHere is my much loved Canon 350D in the hands of her proud new owner. This shot was taken on the day of handover and converted into B&W in Lightroom.
It's OK though, despite my current doldrums with photography, I haven't given up - I have upgraded to the 40D and a rather nice lens, an EFS 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM. All in all, a big investment for me and a commitment to continue to work at this passion.
I feel that I am setting myself up with this post, to produce much better photos - but I think that will take a while. I need to develop my creative side more. This 366 Challenge is also proving to be a great learning curve, not just from taking the photos, but also looking at everyone else's blogs, which contain some fantastic images - and latterly the links to other fabulous photography sites that are being posted.
So thank you all, I may not always have the time to comment individually, but I look and admire all of your 366 Challenge blogs and appreciate each and every one of them.

That's such a nice picture but sort of sad, isn't it? I know you're going to love the 40D. Enjoy!
Nothing quite as exciting as the first one so it does hurt a bit to say good-bye.... at least until you have that wonderful 40D in your hands next!
Nice image Linda.
