I think this is a great idea. Our next door neighbour, a farmer, sells these tubs for just a £1 and donates the money to the Cumbrian Air Rescue. Farmers go through a hugh amount of containers one way or another - this way it is ecologically sound, the purchaser gets a very useful container and the proceeds swells the coffers of the designated charity - recycling at its best!
Btw, the board isn't overexposed - the writing has just really faded and is barely readable. I think I might get out there with my pens and refresh it :-)

Great idea and super that the money goes to charity.
I purchased buckets from an icecream place and found them so useful around the yard. Unfortunately the proceeds went to their profit not to charity.
